Yunzhu Zeng(she/her) is a Costume Designer and Illustrator who comes from China.

She holds an MFA from the Yale School of Drama in costume design(’20)， Where she studied under Broadway’s Toni-Leslie James, Jane Greenwood, and Jess Goldstein.

She has worked in both American and China theaters as a costume designer and illustrator. She is enthusiastic about costume Illustration and expert in using different skills to express the clothes, both in period and contemporary, fabrics, accessories, and textures in digital and hand-painting methods.

She is committed to collaboration, cultural diversity, and authenticity. Her recent Illustration and Costume designs include Betraly (Beijing Dahua City Art Theater), A Number (Beijing Dahua City Art Theater), Poet Li Bai（Beijing Dahua City Art Theater), A Raisin in the Sun (Yale Repertory Theatre), Where Is My Maple Town ( Theater Row).

She currently is a residential costume designer of the Beijing Dahua Art Theater in China.
